Privacy Policy for Snowdial

2. Game data on your device
Snowdial needs no account. Your progress is stored on your device: solved levels, stars, coins, outfits, missions, streaks and settings. We do not receive this data. If Google device backup is turned on, Android may keep it in your personal backup with Google.
If the game crashes, it stores a technical crash report on the device (app version, device model, Android version, time, error trace). On the next start you can choose to share it yourself; otherwise it never leaves the device.
Streak reminders are optional. They are scheduled on your device only and can be turned off in the settings.
3. Online duels and leaderboards
When you open the duel area or the leaderboard, the app signs you in to our server anonymously, without an email address or password. There we store: a random player ID, the player name you chose, your outfit and title, your Brain Gym rating, your duels with solutions, points and times, your duel rating and season points, and season prizes you won. Other players can see your name, outfit, title, ratings and duel results. If you report a player, we store the report with your player ID.
The server runs at Supabase (Supabase Inc., USA), stored in the EU (Frankfurt). Supabase processes the data on our behalf; for technical reasons IP addresses appear in logs. Data may be transferred to the USA, safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as duels are a feature you choose to use.
Saving your progress (optional): If you save your progress, we also store your email address and your game (levels, stars, coins, outfits, Sun Pass, missions, settings) so you can load it on another phone. We only send sign-in codes to the address, delivered by Resend (Resend Inc., USA, EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We keep the data while you use the online features. You can delete it at any time in the app under Settings › Delete online data, or with an account under Save your progress › Delete account (how to: Delete account), or by email to snowdial@denkarena.com.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads via Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google may process your advertising ID, IP address, approximate location (derived from the IP address), device and app information and ad interactions to serve and measure ads, to personalise ads with your consent, and to prevent fraud.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), requested on first launch through Google's consent form. Without consent the app shows only non-personalised ads where permitted (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can change your choice at any time under Settings › Privacy options, and reset or delete the advertising ID in the Android settings.
Data may be transferred to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More: policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
With "Remove ads" or Snowdial Plus, the app no longer shows full-screen ads. You can still start optional reward videos yourself.
5. Purchases and subscription (Google Play)
Purchases and the "Snowdial Plus" subscription are handled entirely by Google Play. We never receive payment details. The app only receives a purchase confirmation from Google and stores on the device what you have unlocked. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Google's privacy policy also applies.
6. Contacting us by email
When you write to us, for example via Settings › Contact support, your message is delivered through Cloudflare's forwarding service (Cloudflare Inc., USA) to our mailbox at Google (Google Ireland Ltd.) and stored there so we can reply. When you use the button in the app, your mail app adds the app version, device model, Android version, language and, if available, your player ID below your message. You can see and delete these details before sending. Both providers are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling your request). We delete messages once they are resolved and no retention obligation applies.
7. Children
Snowdial is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and you may withdraw any consent with effect for the future. Write to snowdial@denkarena.com. For data held by Google, please contact Google directly. To delete your game data, clear the app's data in the Android settings or uninstall the app. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
9. Changes
We update this policy when Snowdial changes. The current version on this page applies.
